Monica is the Director of Sustainability at Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada, where she supports members on environmental sustainability issues, including extended producer responsibility, circular economy, and climate mitigation. Prior to joining FHCP, she worked for the Government of Canada for more than 10 years across several departments, contributing to the development of sustainability regulations, policies, and strategies on topics including climate change, sustainable finance, plastics, and clean technology. Monica has also worked in consulting and the non-profit sector in sustainability-focused roles and has a background in chemistry and environmental engineering.
