This workshop session will explore Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) transitions across North America from multiple perspectives. Producers will share experiences as new programs roll out, including cost pressures, reporting, and operational realities. Provincial regulators will outline priorities for oversight, compliance, and verification, while highlighting opportunities for harmonization. The session will also draw feedback from stakeholders across the value chain to identify pathways for greater consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement in EPR systems.
