Jon Douglas is the Director of Global Climate & Sustainability Operations for RBC. He is responsible for strategic development & implementation of global sustainability programs, and operational processes for RBC. Jon manages RBC’s net-zero operations strategy, global renewable energy procurement, carbon investment for RBC’s own operations, and regulatory data management for operational climate disclosures. He holds an MBA from Ivey School of Business and he was named a young Sustainability Leaders in Canada by Corporate Knights. 

Colin is a Director within RBC’s Sustainable Finance Commercial Banking group and works with RBC’s business banking clients to integrate ESG factors into their debt financing. He also advises them on emerging trends in climate while guiding their decarbonization strategies.
An economist by background, Colin has authored several major reports for RBC on the interface between climate change and the Canadian economy, including “The $2 Trillion Transition” and “High Rise, Low Carbon.”
Prior to joining RBC, Colin worked on mortgage and macro-financial policy for the Department of Finance Canada.

Stuart has managed the successful investment and delivery of over $15 billion of infrastructure assets delivered through alternative project finance structures. Grown three national advisory practices in Canada, all within the infrastructure and energy sector, including offerings around energy sustainability and carbon reduction. He has developed and implemented new and innovative financing structures across Canada, to develop new infrastructure delivery models. Through effective decision making with execution abilities, he consistently produces exceptional positive results for businesses.

July 2022, Stuart transitioned from his role as the CEO for Energy Services Association of Canada to Executive Vice President of SOFIAC, prior to that he was the National lead for a Big 4 Capital and Infrastructure Project Solutions practice providing expertise for strategic capital planning, deal structuring and procurement advice derived from over 25 years in infrastructure and project finance. Stuart’s advisory roles include expertise of the UK, European and Canadian infrastructure markets, across both the public and private sectors.

Stuart is the Treasurer and Board member for the Clean Air Partnership and the Chair of the Audit Committee and Board Member for the Toronto Atmospheric Fund. Stuart has developed a number of white papers and presented at many conferences on subjects such as alternative financing, infrastructure investment and energy efficiency. He’s led annual strategic planning and budgeting exercises, including ongoing mentoring to business leaders across various business enterprises.

Alex is the Director of National Facilities, Maintenance & Office Services for Holt Renfrew.

In his role, Alex overseas the day to day facility maintenance for all Holt Renfrew locations inclusive of stores, distribution, and offices nationally. Alex is also responsible for all Building/Lighting automation systems, facility capital projects, maintenance service contracts, CMMS management, and key sustainability and waste initiatives.

Embracing his 25 years of facility maintenance and management experience, Alex has driven Holts to new heights in helping them strive to attain sustainability goals. Holt Renfrew was the first retail company to set scientific based targets in 2021 and set a company target of 65% carbon emissions reduced by 2030. Currently they are well on their way as to date they have reduced their carbons emissions by 36% against their 2019 baselines with key initiatives completed at all locations and have also reached a 80% waste diversion target this year by finding key recycling strategic diversions within the store.

Alex has previously studied Mechanical Engineering with a trade background in Millwrighting and Gas fitting. He is a proud resident of Brampton, Ontario with his wife and three children. He currently sits on the Board of Directors for Brampton hockey as well as gives back by devoting his time to coaching two hockey teams for Brampton hockey in his spare time.
